We will contact you by using the phone number or email address given at the time of booking.

Terms and Conditions

These terms apply once a booking and payment has been made either over the phone, by email or online. Once we accept your booking an email confirmation is sent. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your junk mail and if still not visible, please contact us to let us know. Minimum age limit of 17 years old to attend any course.

Definitions and Interpretation

Throughout these terms we will use the following definitions:

Training Service: The service provided to you often referred to as the ‘training course’.

Learner: Person or persons booking or undertaking training services with the Training Academy.

Client: Person or organisation using the services of the Training Academy.

Trainer: Person delivering the training course. This will be an employee of the Training Academy.

Booking: Requesting or paying for training services either over the phone, by email, or via a website.

Payment

The Training Academies Obligations

The Training Academy will work alongside Qualsafe to ensure that our learners receive the highest quality training and learner assessment to guarantee that you are satisfied with the service you have received.

Cancellation and Postponement

Your cancellation rights will depend on whether you are a consumer or a business.

Are you a Business Customer or a Consumer?

You may have different rights under these terms depending on whether you are a business customer or consumer.

If you are a consumer, you have purchased this service for wholly non-work-related reasons and you may be entitled to a full refund if you are within the 14-day cooling off period. This period starts from the date you receive our email confirming your booking. If you have already started any elements of our course within the 14-day cooling off period, you are not eligible for a refund.

If you are a business customer you will be buying training services in connection with your trade, business, or profession:

More than 4 weeks before the course date:

  • You can cancel with a full refund.
  • You can transfer to another course date with no additional fee.
  • You can transfer the course to another individual with no additional fee.

Between 4 and 1 week before the course date:

  • You can cancel with a 50% refund.
  • You can transfer to another course date with no additional fee.
  • You can transfer the course to another individual with no additional fee.

Less than 1 week before the course date:

  • You can still change the learners name with no additional fee.
  • No refunds will be given.

Once a course is amended, transferred or cancelled no further refunds or course transfer options will be available.

A course cannot be transferred or cancelled once any part of the training has started.

All fees must be paid prior to the start time of the existing course.

If a training course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, illness or natural disaster, you will be entitled to attend a future training course.

Liability
