Sherri brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her training, having worked as a frontline paramedic where she gained extensive experience responding to a wide range of real-life situations. This practical experience enables her to bring learning to life through authentic examples and insights from her career on the frontline.

More recently, Sherri has worked within Care Plus Group’s Community Urgent Care Team. She is passionate about delivering excellent care and support, championing continuous improvement, and helping colleagues develop and thrive in their roles. Sherri is equally committed to supporting learners, helping them build the confidence, knowledge and practical skills needed to respond appropriately in a variety of situations. Through her engaging teaching style and real-world experience, she empowers learners to feel confident in applying their skills both in the workplace and beyond.

With 12 years of frontline experience in the NHS ambulance service, I gained extensive experience responding to the full spectrum of emergencies, up to and including major and complex incidents as a member of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) further trained for HazMat/CBRN incidents, MTA and mass casualty events.

Since leaving the ambulance service, I have developed a broad portfolio of experience across primary & urgent care, pre-hospital emergency medicine, event medicine and pre-hospital critical care. My particular interest lies in resuscitation, regularly teaching healthcare professionals from a range of disciplines as a Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support Instructor.

Alongside clinical practice, I have completed postgraduate study in Paramedic Professional Development, Pre-Hospital Critical Care, Advanced Clinical Practice and Independent Prescribing. This is further enriched by seven years as a Police Special Constable and ongoing service as an RAF Reserve Paramedic. As such, I enjoy being able to add realism to clinical training.
